Grouse Mishap

It's been a week of grouse and grouse mishaps at our house.  Last week I hit a grouse on the way to Bigfork and we had five grouse hanging out in the trees by the garage this weekend.  Then Kyle came home from work on Monday to find this...a grouse apparently flew into our bedroom window and shattered the outside pane of glass.  Poor little thing...that's the grouse on the picnic table, where he landed.

Surprise!

When I picked up the kids from daycare today Eliza had a big surprise!  She lost her first tooth!  I was shocked, because she hadn't mentioned it was loose, sore or anything.  Apparently this morning it was sore when she woke up, she had an apple on the way to daycare and it fell out during rest time.  She then hid it under the couch!  Julia found the tooth under the couch and the tooth fairy will make her first visit tonight.  Eliza is VERY excited and now knows that if a tooth is sore, it's probably going to fall out!
