Lynn, Ashley, and Brian came over and brought a ton of Brian's old clothes. Brian warmed up to David pretty quickly.

Final Post from Korea
The Royal Court parading down the Incheon International Airport concorse...
Free traditional arts and crafts while you wait for your flight. Please admire my handiwork.
Even in Seoul, South Korea, I cannot escape flipping Iowa Hawkeye fans.
My two KATUSAs (Korean Augmentee to United States Army); Cpl Lee and PFC Yeo. These two kids were students at Yonsei University (a sister school to St. Olaf) and were drafted into the Korean army. Because of their English abilities, they were assigned to the US Army to serve as liaisons and translators.
Final day at ROK Armed Forces Medical Command. L to R: Operations Colonel, LCDR Henderson, LT Shiek, Major General Nam (ROK Surgeon General), Major Braxton, and ROK Chief of Staff Colonel Taeho.
In three hours, my Korean adventure comes to a close as I will be boarding my flight for home!

DMZ and Joint Security Area
Today we took a tour of the De-Militarized Zone seperating North and South Korea. It was an eye opening experience as we drove through the barbed wire and past the mine fields.
South Korean guards and soliders observing a North Korean sentry. The Blue UN buildings straddle the border. The grey building on the other side is a North Korean building.

Korea Pictures
I've been off work since Friday at 10am and have filled the time seeing Seoul (population 16 Million)!
Inside a traditional Korean home - Hanok - sitting with the pots of Kimchi (pickled cabbage).
A row of Hanoks. These homes are built without any nails, only grooves and the weight of the materials. It's like a giant lincoln log set.
