Today we took a tour of the De-Militarized Zone seperating North and South Korea. It was an eye opening experience as we drove through the barbed wire and past the mine fields.

South Korean guards and soliders observing a North Korean sentry. The Blue UN buildings straddle the border. The grey building on the other side is a North Korean building.

A close up of the North Korean sentry watching us with binoculars.

In the UN Building (the only place you can cross the border). I am standing in North Korea. The South Korean guard is standing on the border.

The concrete slab is the border. The side with rocks is South Korea the side with dirt is North Korea. I took this picture while in North Korea.
