Snow day fun
We had a snow day last Thursday (shocking, right?!), so we went bowling. Calvin loved it!

DOGSLED RACE
Today we went to Tower to watch part of the Wolftrack Classic sled dog race. The 60 mile race started in Ely, had a checkpoint in Tower, and finished in Cook. We saw the 10-dog teams at the checkpoint in Tower, and the 6-dog teams finished in Tower. It was a cold day, but it was fun to see.
One of the teams needed someone to "hook" the dogs, so they asked Kyle to help them. He stood on a hook to keep the dogs from running while they give the dogs a snack and take injured dogs off the trail. Kyle said there was one injured dog riding on the sled.

Valentine's Day
David planned a surprise date for us on Valentine's Day. We went down to this art center called Matter Creative Center and took a painting class! The canvases were white and they taught us step by step how to make this neat painting. We each painted a side. It's now hanging above our piano. They also offer pottery painting and building with Legos. We're definitely going back!

Birthday in LA
We went up to Griffith Observatory in LA for my birthday. It's just across a valley from the Hollywood sign. Felicity thought she should dress the part :)

Funday Sunday!
Finally got these pictures to download. Ice Fest was down at the River Museum a couple weeks ago. There's a giant squid in that aquarium. You can see it sleeping.
